Red Rock maintains a climate change risk assessment, a structured process that evaluates and quantifies how climate-related risks and opportunities could affect its operations, strategy, and financial performance.
This assessment process identifies vulnerabilities across the business’s entire value chain and is used to develop strategies for greater resilience.
The overall view is that climate change presents a risk to the business as summarised below:
- Physical Risk – from weather pattern changes and associated impacts.
- Supply Chain Risk – from disruption, shortages and geopolitical impacts.
- Transition Risk – evolving regulatory and governmental changes.
- Market and Reputation – shifting investor perceptions and public view of renewable energy.
We also recognise that it brings an opportunity for the business to invest and improve, to support wider societal expectations.
Our contribution to climate change is based on our overall business activity, the production of clean energy and a desire to continually improve in all we do.
